Compass Collective was created to bring our family together through meaningful travel. While life takes us to different cities and different seasons, this tradition gives us something to look forward to every year—a chance to reconnect, explore somewhere new, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

How Compass Collective Works

Each year we'll organize one domestic adventure and one international adventure.

Every trip includes:

• Shared lodging
• Transportation planning
• Daily itinerary
• Group dinners
• Family activities
• Games
• Professional or group photos
• Shared memories

Participation is optional each trip, but once you commit, you're part of the team.

Membership Guidelines

Deposits

A 30% non-refundable deposit reserves your space.

Reservations are made based on confirmed travelers, so deposits cannot be refunded unless Compass Collective cancels the trip.

Final Payments

Remaining balances are due 90 days before departure. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in your reservation being released.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel after the deposit has been paid, your deposit will not be refunded. If another traveler fills your spot before final bookings are finalized, we'll refund any eligible portion beyond the non-refundable deposit.

Guest Policy

Family members may invite friends or significant others.However...

• All guests must be approved before they're invited.
• Guest requests should be submitted as early as possible.
• Existing pricing and payment schedules will not change to accommodate additional guests.

Room Assignments

Room assignments are based on:

• Families with children
• Accessibility needs
• Number of guests
• Booking timeline

Assignments are finalized approximately one month before departure.

Room Assignments

Vehicle assignments are organized before the trip. Please arrive on time for departures so the group stays on schedule.

Refund Policy

The 30% deposit secures reservations and is non-refundable.

If unexpected circumstances arise, we'll do our best to fill your spot. Any refundable expenses recovered from your reservation will be returned after the trip concludes.

  • Large vacation homes often require immediate deposits and have strict cancellation policies. Deposits allow us to reserve accommodations without one person carrying the financial risk.

  • Booking flights, rental vehicles, and activities earlier usually results in better pricing and gives us enough time to make adjustments if plans change.

  • Possibly! We love welcoming new people, but all guests must be approved before being invited to ensure there's enough space and that the trip remains manageable.

  • Absolutely! We'll provide a payment schedule for each trip so costs can be spread out over several months.

  • We'll first try to fill the spot with another traveler. If we're able to recover refundable costs, they'll be returned after the trip.

    Certain activities are included in the trip cost, while optional excursions are paid individually so everyone can choose what they'd like to participate in.

  • Compass Collective is organized by Denzel, but everyone is encouraged to share ideas, suggest destinations, and help shape future adventures.
